HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Tonight's contest against the Kannapolis Intimidators has been suspended due to unplayable field conditions. The two teams will resume play at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday and finish the nine-inning game. A seven-inning contest will start 30 minutes after the first ends.
Play was suspended after the top of the third inning with the Intimidators leading the Suns 2-1. Blake Kelso is due up to start the bottom of the third for Hagerstown.
Tickets for the suspended game are exchangeable for any 2011 Suns game. Tickets for Wednesday's scheduled game will be good for both the suspended game and the seven-inning contest that will follow. Gates open at 9:30 a.m.
The Hagerstown Suns play at Municipal Stadium and are a Class "A" affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Season tickets, mini-plans, and group packages with the Suns are now on sale.
