HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Tonight's contest against the Asheville Tourists has been suspended due to weather and unplayable field conditions. The two teams will resume play at 5:05 p.m. tomorrow and finish the nine-inning game. A seven-inning contest will start 30 minutes after the first ends.
Play was suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Tourists leading, 4-3. When play was suspended, Adrian Sanchez was on second, and Bryce Harper was on first. David Freitas is due up next for the Suns.
Tickets for the suspended game are exchangeable for any 2011 Suns game. Tickets for Saturday's scheduled game will be good for both the suspended game and the seven-inning contest that will follow. Gates open 4:05 p.m.
