McGuire, the 11th overall selection in the 2010 draft, has a record of 3-3 with an ERA of 3.24 through his first 11 career appearances (10 starts). He has held opposing hitters to a .230 batting average, and has recorded 52 strikeouts in 58.1 innings of work.
Nestor Molina, a 22 year old prospect from Valencia, Venezuela, leads all Blue Jays starters with a 5-3 record and a 2.75 ERA. A converted infielder, this is Molina's first season as a starter, and he has flourished in the role. In 52.1 innings of work he has a K:BB ratio of 62:5, and opponents are batting just .235 against him.
Wes Etheridge has been among the league's best relievers from the outset of the season. He currently leads the entire Florida State League with 25 appearances, and is a perfect 16 for 16 in save opportunities. He has compiled a 1.07 ERA in 25.1 innings of work, and has held opponents to a .169 batting average.
Catcher AJ Jimenez is one of the top catching prospects in the Blue Jays organization, and he is having a breakout season offensively. The Puerto Rican native is currently batting .362 with 15 doubles and 31 RBI after 150 at bats. He has caught nearly half of attempted base stealers from behind the plate, and backstopped on of the league's best starting rotations.
Justin Jackson is having a breakout season in 2011, batting .326 through May and filling a number of different roles defensively. Originally drafted as a shortstop, the 22 year old has played all three outfield positions, plus second base this season in addition to short. He has six stolen bases and leads the team with 25 walks and a .424 on-base percentage.
Brad Glenn had been putting up huge power numbers all season long, currently tied for the league lead with 14 home runs. He leads the Blue Jays with 41 RBI, and is second in the league in both RBI, and total bases. The 24 year old University of Arizona product has made just one error in the outfield in 51 games, playing both left and right field for Dunedin.
