Baysox Home For Four Game in Three Days

The first place Bowie Baysox welcome the New Britain Rock Cats to town for a four game home stand over three days, starting Friday, Aug. 12. The home stand features the popular Family Campout, Video Game Night, a pregame concert and the opportunity to win a $1,500 vacation package in the Miss Utility Diamond Dig.

Friday, Aug. 12, 7:05 p.m. - Family Campout, Video Game Night, Fireworks - After enjoying a game filled with odes to the wonderful world of video gaming, the Baysox invite families to camp on the field after the game. Families can enjoy a movie on the stadium video board after the game and can win free Baysox prizes. Space is limited, so pre-registration for camping is required. Saturday, Aug. 13, 6:35 p.m. - Rocknoceros Concert, Football Kickoff Party, Fireworks - Stadium gates open at 4 p.m. for a special pregame concert by kids rock group Rocknoceros. The concert is on top of the third base dugout and begins at 4:15 p.m. Tickets for the concert are $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event, and include a general admission seat ticket for the Baysox game. Fans are invited to help kick off the football season by wearing their favorite team's jersey or colors to the Football Kickoff Party. LHP Mike Ballard is scheduled to start for the Baysox.

Sunday, Aug. 14, Doubleheader starting at 4:05 p.m. - Miss Utility Diamond Dig, Fireworks - 50 lucky fans will have the opportunity to dig for a $1,500 vacation package from Liberty Travel in Bowie, courtesy of Miss Utility. RHP Tim Bascom is scheduled to take the mound for Bowie, and the other starter has not been named.
