Harrisburg, PA - On Monday afternoon at Metro Bank Park, the Senators beat the Akron Aeros 5-2 to win for the 80th time in 2011. Harrisburg finishes the season with their highest win total since winning 86 games in 1997.

Oliver Perez, Carlos Martinez, Pat Lehman and Rafael Martin all pitched in the game for the Senators. Perez started and pitched four scoreless innings followed by Martinez, the winner Monday afternoon.

Derek Norris started the scoring in the first inning with his 20th home run on the season giving the Sens a 1-0 lead. They extended the lead to 4-0 in the second when Chris McConnell doubled in Tim Pahuta with two outs, followed by an Erik Komatsu two-run single.

The teams traded runs in the fifth, then Akron scored their final tally in the ninth.

Derek Norris had three hits in the game while Tim Pahuta had two hits to finish the season at .260. Josh Johnson and Devin Ivany both flashed the leather on Monday. Johnson, starting in left field for the first time this season, threw out Jordan Henry in the third inning as Henry was trying to stretch a single into a double. Ivany made a terrific catch moving towards the Senators dugout in the second inning.
