Snyder navigated out of multiple jams to post the series-tying victory for the RoughRiders. Snyder blanked the Missions during his six innings of work. The southpaw walked five and scattered three hits. San Antonio stranded eight runners during Snyder's effort, seven of which were left in the first three frames.
Behind Snyder, Richard Bleier allowed an RBI single to Blake Tekotte but posted two outs. Johan Yan set down all four Missions he faced. Texas League All-Star Justin Miller worked around a pair of walks in the ninth for the save.
The 'Riders scored for the first time in this series in the fourth inning. Tommy Mendonca led off the frame with a double, and Mike Bianucci followed with a single. Jonathan Greene then drove Mendonca home with an RBI single. Later in the frame, Engel Beltre chased home Bianucci with a groundout.
San Antonio starter Simon Castro worked the first seven innings, and he gave up those two runs on seven hits. Castro whiffed five and did not walk a batter. Both Jorge Reyes and Colt Hynes posted a scoreless frame of relief out of the bullpen for the Missions.
