The Potomac Nationals are excited to announce their 2012 schedule. The highlights include a 4th of July homestand, 17 home games in May, and a seven-game homestand around Memorial Day. Though the Nationals start and finish the season away from Pfitzner Stadium, they open their home schedule Friday April 13th with the Lynchburg Hillcats in Woodbridge.
After just ten home games in April, the Nationals play 17 of their 29 games in May at the Pfitz.
The 2012 All Star Game will be played at Winston-Salem's BB&T Ballpark on June 19th, after which the Nationals come back home for a seven-game homestand.
As usual, the Nationals will be at home, just south of the nation's capital for the 4th of July; the Frederick Keys come to town for a three-game holiday set.
