Marlins outfielder Kevin Mattison also had two hits for Surprise, tripling and scoring twice out of the leadoff spot. D-backs prospect Adam Eaton went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored as the Rafters improved to 7-2. So far in the AFL, the 22-year-old outfielder is hitting .417 (10-for-24) with five RBIs and four steals in five games. Teammate Nolan Arenado was the only other player to have multiple hits in the game, going 2-for-4 and driving in a run. Robbie Grossman delivered three hits and fellow Pirates prospect Jarek Cunningham smacked a timely two-run double for the Solar Sox. Grossman doubled, singled twice and drew a base on balls in his six plate appearances. He is batting .325 through nine AFL games after completing his best season as a pro at Class A Advanced Bradenton. White Sox prospects Tyler Saladino and Brandon Short also had key RBIs.
