Wheeler established a Drillers franchise record with 33 home runs this past season. The total also led all Texas League hitters as well as all hitters in Double A.
The Tulsa MVP Award was one of several awards that were announced by the Rockies. Several other winners will likely play in Tulsa for the Drillers in the future.
