The Bluefield Blue Jays are pleased to present their new logo for the 2012 season and beyond. The logo mirrors the changes made by the Toronto Blue Jays earlier this month. The logo is a throwback to the original 1977 logo during the Toronto Blue Jays first season.
The logo was introduced by General Manager Chris Maxwell at a press conference held at the Bluefield Chamber of Commerce. New uniforms and cap design were unveiled as well.
"We are thrilled to follow the Toronto Blue Jays with this new logo that pays tribute to the team's great history and brings back memories of the team's two World series wins in the early 90's," Maxwell said.
New merchandise will be available to the fans in early spring 2012. For more information contact the Blue Jays at 276-326-1326.
