Effective immediately, Lyman will take over all GM responsibilities for the 2012 season. Lyman started as an intern with the Mariners back in 2010 and was over all media relations for the club. She was then appointed to the Assistant GM position for the 2011 season.
"This is a very exciting opportunity for me to take on more responsibility and do my best to make improvements within the club. I feel very fortunate to be working in baseball," said Lyman.
Lyman is a native of Highland, Utah and a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo. She has a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and is fluent in Spanish.
