ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves today officially announced that legendary Braves manager Bobby Cox will manage the "Future Stars" team in the first-ever "Braves All-Stars vs. Future Stars Game." The announcement was originally made by Braves Executive Vice President and General Manager Frank Wren on last week's Braves Country Caravan. The match-up, pitting the Braves' Major League club against the top prospects of the system, takes place at the home of the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Cox will be leading a group of Braves Minor League prospects as they battle the current Braves' big-league squad, managed by Fredi Gonzalez.

Atlanta Braves and Gwinnett Braves Season Ticket Holders can currently purchase tickets to the game at a $5 discount off the general public price. Season Ticket Holders will have unprecedented access throughout the event, including early entry at 3:30 p.m. ET (an hour earlier than the 4:30 gate time for the general public), an on-field "meet and greet" with Braves players and prospects and a dugout Q&A session with Wren and other active Braves. Selected Braves' VIP's such as Team President John Schuerholz will be on hand at the Home Plate Club and Super Suite for additional "meet and greet" opportunities with randomly-selected Season Ticket Holders.

Gwinnett Braves Season Ticket Holders will participate in an Experiential Incentive Raffle to have a chance to win further perks. Of those who renew or purchase by February 17, one will be selected to throw out the game's Ceremonial First Pitch to catcher Brian McCann. Of those who renew or purchase by March 2, two will be chosen to announce the starting line-ups alongside Cox and Gonzalez prior to the game.

Fans with Partial Season Tickets may also purchase tickets to the game at the same $5 discount.

For non-Season Ticket Holders, there will be three opportunities to purchase tickets. A special deal pairing tickets for G-Braves' Opening Day (or an Atlanta Braves home game to be determined) along with the "Braves All-Stars vs. Futures Stars Game" will go on sale on Saturday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m. ET. This package may only be purchased by phone, fax or in-person at the Coolray Field Box Office.

Remaining seats will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. ET in conjunction with Gwinnett Braves' Ticketpalooza and 2012 Fan Fest. Should tickets still be available, they will be open to online sale beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET on March 10.

Ticket prices are as follows:

For Season Ticket Holders: Infield Box ($25), Baseline Box ($15), Lawn ($10)

For General Public: Infield Box ($30), Baseline Box ($20), Lawn ($10)

Opening Day / Braves All-Stars vs. Future Stars Game Combo Ticket Pricing: Infield Box ($45), Baseline Box with Field Box for Opening Day ($32), Baseline Box with Baseline Box for Opening Day ($28)
