How do you audition?
Spots fill up fast, so don't delay! To register for an audition on March 3, visit the National Anthem Tryouts registration page (CLICK HERE). Only the first 150 entries received will be guaranteed a scheduled time slot.
Who can audition?
Whether you're a child or adult, like to sing solo, sing with a group, or even play an instrument, we want you! Only one entry per group, no age restrictions apply.
Are there prizes?
Winners get to sing the National Anthem at a Dash game! But if that's not enough, the five highest scoring entrants will be eligible for a Grand Prize Package!
If you are among the first 150 entries received, you will be notified by e-mail or phone and assigned a performance time at least one week prior to the audition date. Those not contacted by the Dash are encouraged to attend from 12 noon - 5 p.m. on March 3 and register as a stand-by performer.
Contestants will audition "a capella" (without music) for a panel of celebrity judges. Come attired, as if it was game day and you were performing live on the field. The audition may be videotaped and recorded. All contestants are asked to stay within the 90-second allotted time slot. After the auditions are complete, the Dash will contact all contestants within two weeks of the audition to inform them whether or not they have been selected as a winner.
