Kemp-A-Palooza came and went.
And it was easily worth the price of admission.
The Dodgers outfielder dressed for two games with the Albuquerque Isotopes as part of his Major League rehabilitation assignment from a left hamstring injury on May 13. In front of packed crowds at The Lab, Matt Kemp stole the show against the Oklahoma City RedHawks.
Sunday, May 27 vs OKC: 2-for-3, single, HR, 3 RBI
Monday, May 28 vs OKC: 3-for-4, single, double, HR, 2 RBI
In total, Kemp went a combined 5-for-7 (.714) with 5 RBI and two home runs. More than 18,000 fans packed Isotopes Park to witness the Major League All-Star in his two appearances.
Juan Rivera also played in both games as part of his rehab assignment, going 2-for-5 with 3 RBI.
