Bulls Return Friday For Fun Filled Homestand

DURHAM, NC- The Durham Bulls return to the DBAP on Friday, June 22 for an eight game homestand featuring visits from the Buffalo Bisons and Syracuse Chiefs. Two Friday Night Fireworks shows, an appearance by Red Panda Acrobat, the final day game of the season, and a doubleheader with USA Baseball headline the event schedule.

The New York Mets' top affiliate will be in town for four games beginning on Friday, June 22. It will be the only Durham visit by the Buffalo Bisons this season. This Friday's 7:05pm game, presented by Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, kicks off the fun filled homestand. In addition to Friday Night Fireworks, postgame festivities will also feature Boy Scout Night presented by Great Outdoor Provision Co., where participating scouts will get to spend the night in the outfield at the DBAP.

June 22nd will also mark the start of the third Time Warner Cable Weekend of the season. Popular character Fred Flintstone will visit the DBAP on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, thanks to Time Warner Cable.

On Saturday, June 23rd, Sport Durst Automotive Group presents Swing for the Cure Night. The Bulls will wear pink jerseys that fans can bid on during a silent auction that night, with proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, NC Triangle Affiliate. Fans can also purchase the Go Pink package for $12, which includes a game ticket, pink baseball, pink bracelet and a $2 donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, NC Triangle Affiliate.

Also during Saturday's 7:05pm game, fans will be treated to multiple performances from the world famous Red Panda Acrobat. Red Panda's unique unicycle routines (watch video) have made her one of the most sought after halftime entertainment acts in the NBA, and Saturday will be the Guinness World Record holder's first ever visit to the DBAP.

Kids Run the Bases courtesy of Pepsi following the 5:05pm game on Sunday, June 24. Monday's series finale with the Bisons is a special 12:05pm matinee. The June 25th game will be televised nationally on MLB Network, marking the second national broadcast from the DBAP this season. Monday's game will be the Bulls' last home day game of the year.

The Bulls welcome the Syracuse Chiefs to Durham on Tuesday, June 26th for a four game series. Fans can once again get 2 Terrace Reserved Tickets for $9 on Tuesday, thanks to Whole Foods Market. Wednesday's 7:05pm against the Washington Nationals Triple-A affiliate is sponsored by Kinect for Xbox 360.

Fans can take advantage of $1 concession items, including Bright Leaf hot dogs, popcorn and fries on Thursday, June 28. Thursday is also College Night, where students can get a Terrace View ticket and $5 in Bulls Bucks for just $10 or an Outfield Reserved ticket for only $4.99 by entering the promo code COLLEGE when purchasing tickets online at durhambulls.com.

The homestand concludes on Friday, June 29 with a USA Baseball and Durham Bulls doubleheader. At 3:05pm, the Collegiate National Team and 18 & Under National Team will compete in Game 1 of USA Baseball's Prospect Classic. Fans will have the opportunity to catch the next Stephen Strasburg or Bryce Harper in a showcase of the Nation's top amateur stars, which will feature former Red Sox manager Terry Francona and longtime Major League skipper Jack McKeon as honorary managers. A ticket to the Bulls game at 7:05pm will serve as admission for both the USA Baseball game and the Durham/Syracuse contest.

Following a short break after Game 1 of the Prospect Classic, the Bulls and Chiefs will wrap up their series with a game presented by Durham Marriott City Center. Immediately following the homestand finale, which features Y Guides and Princesses Night, fans can enjoy another Friday Night Fireworks show.
