The Auburn Doubledays announced today that the final Wednesday home game of each month will have a peanut free section at the ballpark.
"This is a perfect way of letting people who have peanut allergies come to the baseball game," Auburn Doubledays President David Daum said. "It gives them the opportunity to come to the game without having to worry about their allergies."
The section that will be designated peanut-free is the General Admissions section directly behind section 110 along the third base line. The home games that will be peanut-free are:
- Tonight, June 27 vs. Jamestown Jammers, 7:05 p.m.
- July 25 vs. Vermont Lake Monsters, 7:05 p.m.
- August 22 vs. State College Spikes, 7:05 p.m.
