07/05/2012 8:41 PM ET

A pair of homers from John Lindsey and a one-hit performance from Adam Wilk propelled the Hens past the Clippers in the series finale on Thursday night at Fifth Third Field. Wilk pitched six shutout innings with seven strikeouts in the 6-1 win.

The Mud Hens played an all-around solid game against Columbus. Toledo racked up nine hits while the lone blemish for the pitching staff came by way of a Russ Canzler homer in the top of the seventh.

The Hens scored two runs in the third, sixth and eighth innings. Lindsey was 2-for-4 from the plate with his pair of homers and four RBI.

The Mud Hens finish up the first half of the season with a road trip to Louisville starting on Friday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Game Notes

  • Matt Young and Argenis Diaz (2) were the other Mud Hens with RBI.
  • Luis Marte gave up one run and three hits in two innings for Toledo.
  • LHP Casey Crosby is scheduled to start for the Hens tomorrow night.
