The Rangers outfield prospect was 5-for-5 with three runs scored as Triple-A Round Rock defeated Nashville, 8-5.

Butler got on the board quickly, doubling home a run in the second inning, and scored on Elio Sarmiento's single. He singled and scored in the fourth and then again in the fifth. The 26-year-old outfielder singled in his final two at-bats to complete his five-hit performance.

"I just felt like I waited for my pitches and saw them early in the count and tried my best not to miss," said Butler, who went 5-for-5 on April 16, 2010 for Frisco. "The ball found holes."

Butler has a 10-game hitting streak for the Express, going 16-for-40 over that time. He's collected six extra-base hits, scored nine times and driven in six runs. Butler, who said he was not aware of his streak, had a simple explanation.

"I guess I'm trying to slow the game down and get a pitch to hit," Butler said.

He thinks the easiest way to continue his streak is to ignore it.

"I just try to help the team win, whether it's a a strikeout or an RBI groundout I'm satisfied," the Missouri native said.

Overall, Butler is batting .290 with 13 homers and 48 RBIs in 94 games for Round Rock.

Luis Hernandez drove in two runs and Ryan Spilborghs scored twice for the Express.

Corey Patterson slugged a solo homer and Sean Halton was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a losing effort for the Sounds.

Chad Bell (3-2) allowed five runs on nine hits over seven innings for the win.
