From now until Friday, August 17th, you can vote for the 2012 PERT Plus MiLB Stars! Representing the Herd on the ballot are RHP MATT HARVEY, RHP JEURYS FAMILIA, and OF MATT den DEKKER.

There are 30 hitters and 30 pitchers from across Triple-A baseball on the ballot and fans are to vote for five of each. Current players that are listed are subject to change if a player is to either get called up, sent down, or injured, so be sure to check www.milb.com/pertstars periodically.

Harvey is 7-4 with a 3.39ERA and 102K in 98.1 innings of work this season. His strikeout total is tied for second in the International League and his ERA is good for ninth best. He has struck out at least ten batters in three of his 18 starts.  

Familia is 7-5 with a 4.62ERA and 78K in 87.2 innings pitched this year. His 19 games started is tied for the most in the International League. He has gone a season-high 6.1 innings in each of his last two starts and has surrendered only one earned run with 11 strikeouts and two walks over that span.

den Dekker is hitting .209 (27-129) with 14 extra base hits and 18RBI in 29 games with the Bisons. Prior to being promoted to the Herd on June 12, den Dekker played 58 games with Double-A Binghamton. He led the Eastern League in batting average (.340), hits (81), doubles (21), runs scored (47), and total bases (134).
