Wilmington, DE - After a 57-minute rain delay on Thursday night at Frawley Stadium, the game between the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Frederick Keys was suspended, with the squads scoreless in the bottom of the third inning.

Since there are no more scheduled games in Wilmington between the Rocks and the Keys, the game will be resumed in Frederick with a date and time to be announced.

Dylan Bundy started for Frederick and Matt Ridings took the ball for Wilmington.

With one out in the first, Ridings walked Michael Mosby and allowed a hit to Tyler Townsend. He would avoid trouble as Jeremy Nowak flew out and Michael Flacco struck out looking.

After Bundy had a 1-2-3 first inning, Ridings allowed the leadoff man in Travis Adair to reach to start the second. With one out, he got Roderick Bernadina to bounce into a 6-4-3 double play to retire the side. Bundy added another clean frame in the second.

In the top of the third, Ridings had his first 1-2-3 frame, recording two strikeouts. Bundy retired the first two men he faced in the third before walking Geulin Beltre. Whit Merrifield was in the middle of his at-bat with a 3-1 count, when the game went into the rain delay.

Tickets for Thurday's game can be exchanged for any Rocks home game within a calendar year.

The Rocks open a three-game series with the Carolina Mudcats on Friday at 7:05 p.m. Wilmington's RHP Brooks Pounders (3-3, 6.02) and Carolina's RHP Michael Goodnight (2-9, 4.51) will be the starting pitchers. Broadcast coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. as studio host Rob Cunningham brings fans the Rocks Report Pre-game Show, presented by Wawa, on 89.7 WGLS-FM and online at wgls.rowan.edu.
