Cory Aldridge belted three homers and drove in seven runs to lead the Salt Lake Bees to a 13-6 win over the Las Vegas 51s on Sunday night. Aldridge hit a two run homer in the second inning to give the Bees a 2-0 lead, He ripped a three run shot in the eighth to snap a 5-5 tie to put Salt Lake ahead to stay. He capped off his night with a two run blast in the ninth inning, as the Bees scored four runs in the eighth and four more in the ninth to take control of the game and end their four game losing streak.
Ryan Brasier (4-1) tossed two scoreless innings to pick up the win. Kole Calhoun had three hits, including a double and a homer, and two runs batted in, while Matt Long added three hits with a home run and one RBI. Trevor Crowe chipped in three hits and one RBI and Luis Jimenez had two hits, also with a home run, and two RBI. The six home runs were a season high for the Bees, as they end a nine game losing streak against Las Vegas.
