Ryan Wright Promoted to Bakersfield
08/03/2012 3:30 PM ET
The Dayton Dragons announced the following additional roster changes today: Second baseman Ryan Wright has been promoted to Bakersfield (California League). Outfielder Jefry Sierra has been activated from the disabled list. Pitcher Nick Masset (major league injury rehabilitation assignment) has been removed from the Dayton roster. The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Wright, who represented the Dragons in the Midwest League All-Star Game in June, appeared in 102 games for the club. He batted .285 with 27 doubles, six triples, five home runs, 50 runs batted in, and 14 stolen bases.

Sierra has appeared in 48 games with the Dragons, batting .229 with no home runs and 16 runs batted in. He returns from a dislocated left shoulder suffered on July 13.

Masset pitched a scoreless first inning for the Dragons last night and will continue his rehabilitation in the Reds organization.

The Dragons host Lansing tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Fifth Third Field to wrap up a four-game series.
