The 2013 All-Star Game will feature some of Minor League Baseball's top prospects, as the two Northwest League Divisions face off. Notable players who played in the NWL include Felix Hernandez, Zach Grienke, Tim Lincecum, Carlos Beltran, Andre Ethier, Neftali Feliz, Adam Jones and Ian Kinsler.
The All-Star Game celebration will include several other events, including a Home Run Derby and an All-Star Luncheon at Tulalip Resort Casino, with more festivities to be announced in the coming weeks.
"We are thrilled to host the first of these annual Northwest League All-Star games," said AquaSox executive vice-president Tom Backemeyer, "The caliber of talent in the league, and the fact that each team will only host one game every eight years makes this a must-see event."
AquaSox season ticket holders, mini-plan holders and sponsors will have first priority to purchase tickets for the 2013 All-Star Game, presented by Tulalip Resort Casino, and all other All-Star Game related events. Ticket information, including an all-inclusive Tulalip Resort package, will be released in early October.
"Tulalip Resort Casino has been a great partner of the AquaSox for a number of years," said Backemeyer, "And we are looking forward to working with them to make this event one to remember."
