JACKSON, Tenn. - Friday night's series opener between the Tennessee Smokies and Jackson Generals at Pringles Park has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 4 with first pitch of game one scheduled for 5:05 p.m. ET
The Smokies are expected to send RHP Nick Struck (11-10, 3.71 ERA) and LHP Eric Jokisch (7-2, 2.99 ERA) to the mound against Generals RHP Matt Fox (0-1, 4.50 ERA) and RHP Brandon Maurer (8-2, 3.32 ERA).
