Valentino Pascucci homered and drove in three runs and No. 14 Mets prospect Matt Den Dekker doubled and plated three as Buffalo topped Lehigh Valley, 10-1, in seven innings. Chris Schwinden (7-7) allowed one run over six innings to get the victory for the Bisons. Hector Luna went 3-for-3 with a double and drove in the IronPigs' only run.
No. 8 Pirates prospect Justin Wilson (9-5) threw an eight-inning no-hitter, walking just one and striking out five as Indianapolis beat Charlotte, 3-0. Yamaico Navarro tripled, doubled and scored twice for the Indians and No. 6 Pirates prospect Tony Sanchez collected two RBIs. Scott Carroll (2-5) surrendered three runs on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5 2/3 frames in the loss for the Knights.
No. 12 Orioles prospect L.J. Hoes went 4-for-6 with two runs out of the leadoff spot and Bill Hall and Brandon Waring each had three RBIs as Norfolk beat Gwinnett, 10-2. Jason Berken (4-4) scattered two runs on seven hits without any walks while striking out seven over 6 2/3 innings to earn the win for the Tides. Ruben Gotay doubled and plated a run for the Braves.
Esmerling Vasquez (7-5) came on in relief in the first inning and tossed 7 2/3 scoreless frames, allowing just two hits and four walks while fanning seven as Rochester topped Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 5-2. Eduardo Escobar went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs for the Red Wings. Corban Joseph supplied a two-run shot for the Yankees.
No. 3 Tigers prospect Casey Crosby (7-5) allowed three runs -- one earned -- on seven hits and three walks while striking out two over 6 2/3 innings to lead Toledo over Louisville, 4-3. John Lindsey and Jerad Head homered for the Mud Hens. No. 4 Reds prospect Didi Gregorius tripled in a pair of runs for the Bats.
