MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Run support won't be the only thing providing a lift at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark Thursday Night. It's Ladies' Night and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are giving away sports bras, courtesy of Carolina Coastal Plastic Surgery, to the first 200 women 18 and over to their series opener with the Carolina Mudcats August 16th at 7:05pm.

"Ladies night is always a fun and unique night at the ballpark," said Pelicans Director of Promotions Jen Borowski, "but this year it is extra special with the addition of the sports bra giveaway."

With new sports bras in hand, ladies can then bid on "dates" with eligible members of the Pelicans front office. All proceeds will benefit the Bruce Dal Canton Fund to support students higher education goals in Horry County. Winning bidders can date their staff member for the last few innings of the game and then receive a prize pack including movie tickets for a real date night. Whether or not winners take their Pelicans staff members on those dates is up to them. In the history of Ladies' Night, no staffer has been lucky enough for a second date.

The bachelor auction is just the start of it. There will also be raffle tickets available for ladies' prizes from local businesses. The money raised from the raffle also benefits the Bruce Dal Canton Fund.

Finally, it's also another Thirsty Thursday with $1 Bud and Bud Light Drafts from 6-8pm. There will also be $4 glasses of wine available.

Ladies' Night is the beginning of a four game series with Carolina at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Come back to the park Friday for 80's Night and Saturday for 90's night.
