CORPUS CHRISTI -- The Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryouts return to Whataburger Field on Sunday, October 28 at 1 p.m.
Cost is just $99 for expert evaluation by Baseball Factory staff members. Players are assessed in hitting, fielding, throwing (pitching) and running.
Open to high school players ages 14-18, Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryouts are conducted at approximately 100 locations around the U.S. each year. After evaluation, accepted players are placed in an appropriate player development program.
“Their motto is ‘Build Your Way to Greatness’ and they are serious about it,” Hooks Communications Director Matt Rogers said. “The comprehensiveness of their program, from life skills to academics to player development to college recruiting, is truly impressive.”
Baseball Factory’s goal is to help high school players find the best-fitting college program. The organization has assisted over 40,000 high school players in bridging to college and counts 2,500 drafted players and 270 major leaguers as alums.
