The St. Lucie Mets have announced they will be hosting the Guns 'N Hoses Charity Softball Game on Saturday, August 25 at Digital Domain Park.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office will play the St. Lucie County Firefighters in the charity softball game with proceeds for the event benefiting the Van Duzer Foundation.

The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. and gates open at 3:30 p.m.

The Van Duzer Foundation is an organization that assists St. Lucie County families and individuals experiencing financial and personal hardship due to an unforeseen crisis or tragedy.

Tickets for the Guns 'N Hoses Softball game can be purchased for $3. For tickets, call the Mets box office at 772-871-2115.

After the event, the Mets host the Charlotte Stone Crabs at 6:30 p.m. Fans will be treated to an exciting post-game country concert, featuring the Tom Jackson Band as well as a fireworks show.
