Darnell McDonald hit a three-run homer against his former team and Melky Mesa supplied a two-run shot, powering Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to an 8-5 win over Pawtucket. Corban Joseph and Ramiro Pena contributed solo blasts for the Yankees, while Red Sox No. 17 prospect J.C. Linares homered, doubled and drove in three runs in a losing effort.

Luis Exposito hit a walk-off homer in the 10th inning to give Norfolk a 3-2 victory over Gwinnett. Jake Arrieta did not factor in the decision for the Tides after yielding two runs on three hits while fanning eight over 6 2/3 innings. Top Diamondbacks prospect Trevor Bauer threw a five-hitter and struck out 12 en route to his first career complete game as Reno beat Round Rock, 8-2. Pitcher Brian Bass hit a walk-off single in the 12th inning, giving Oklahoma City a 3-2 victory over Fresno. Ross Seaton did not factor in the decision for the RedHawks after allowing two runs -- one earned -- on eight hits and a walk with two strikeouts over 6 1/3 frames.
