John Ely struck out seven allowed a run on six hits over eight innings for his team-record 14th win as Albuquerque shut down visiting New Orleans, 3-1. Jerry Sands tied another Isotopes mark by extending his hitting streak to 19 games, while Dodgers No. 11 prospect Tim Federowicz went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Brett Hayes had two hits and scored the Zephyrs' lone run.

Ricardo Nanita hit a two-run blast and a pair of solo shots for his first career three-homer game, powering Las Vegas to a 10-4 triumph at Sacramento. Jonathan Diaz also went deep and Tuffy Gosewisch collected three hits and three RBIs for the 51s, while Shane Peterson and Brandon Hicks homered for the River Cats.

Hector Noesi carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning, helping Tacoma blank visiting Reno, 2-0. Mike Wilson drilled a two-run homer in the eighth to provide the difference for the Rainiers, while D-backs No. 13 prospect Adam Eaton had the only hit for the Aces.

Omaha clinched its second straight American North Division title with a 5-3 victory over visiting Nashville. Anthony Seratelli was 4-for-4 and scored a run for the Storm Chasers, who got seven strong innings from Ryan Verdugo. Jordan Brown and Humberto Quintero both had two hits and an RBI for the Sounds.

Ryan Lollis had two hits and drove in two runs to lead Fresno to a 5-3 victory over visiting Tucson. Giants No. 8 prospect Conor Gillaspie also contributed two hits and added an RBI for the Grizzlies, while Jesus Merchan went 3-for-4 and drove in a run for the Padres.

Andrew Brown homered, doubled and drove in three runs to lead a 16-hit attack in Colorado Springs' 9-8 road win over Salt Lake. Omir Santos went 4-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored out of the ninth spot in the Sky Sox's lineup, while John Hester tripled and collected three RBIs for the Bees.

Ryan Rowland-Smith struck out six and allowed a run on five hits over five innings as Iowa held on for a 3-2 win over visiting Memphis. Cubs No. 19 prospect Dave Sappelt drilled a two-run homer, his second in as many games, for the winners. Lou Montanez and Jose Garcia went yard for the Redbirds.

Jose Martinez capped a four-run eighth inning with a two-run single as Oklahoma City rallied for a 5-4 win at Round Rock. Carlos Corporan homered and Astros No. 2 prospect Jarred Cosart recorded his first Triple-A victory out of the bullpen for the RedHawks. Luis Hernandez went 3-for-5 and scored a run in a losing effort.

White Sox No. 15 prospect Josh Phegley went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs as Charlotte beat Norfolk, 12-3, for its eighth straight win. Jose Lopez also went deep and drove in four runs, while Justin Greene drilled a three-run shot off the bench for the Knights. Ryan Flaherty had two hits, including a solo homer, for the Tides.

Corban Joseph went 3-for-6 with a three-run homer to lead a season-high 20-hit attack as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre beat Rochester, 10-3. Yankees No. 8 prospect Austin Romine chipped in two hits, including a two-run homer, for the winners, while Tsuyoshi Nishioka smacked a two-run shot for the Red Wings.

Josh Kroeger went 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored as Gwinnett collected a season-high 19 hits in a 10-5 win at Durham. Felix Pie, Ruben Gotay and Brian Friday drove in two runs apiece for the Braves, while Nevin Ashley hit a two-run homer, doubled and scored twice for the Bulls.

Newcomer Dallas McPherson capped a four-run ninth inning with a two-run triple as Indianapolis defeated Syracuse, 6-2. Daniel McCutchen struck out five over four innings of shutout relief to get the win, while Zach Walters accounted for the Chiefs' offense with his fourth homer.

Phillies No. 16 prospect Cesar Hernandez lifted a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give Lehigh Valley its IL-leading 13th walk-off win, 4-3 over Toledo. Cody Overbeck homered for the IronPigs, while Danny Dorn and John Lindsey went deep for the Mud Hens.

Denis Phipps homered, doubled twice and scored on Willie Harris' 10th-inning single as Louisville edged visiting Columbus, 3-2. Reds No. 5 prospect Neftali Soto also had three hits and scored a run for the Bats, while Tim Fedroff provided the Clippers' offense with his eighth homer.

Collin McHugh gave up five hits over seven innings as Buffalo blanked Pawtucket, 2-0, as part of the Futures at Fenway doubleheader. Josh Rodriguez homered and Brad Emaus drove in the other run for the Bisons. Jonathan Hee's doubled was the PawSox's only extra-base hit.
