DUNEDIN, FL - A successful season for the Dunedin Blue Jays continued on Monday when closer Danny Barnes, shortstop Kevin Nolan and Manager Mike Redmond were named Florida State League full season All-Stars.

Barnes leads the Florida State League with 33 saves, and has put together an incredible season by all statistical measures. In 50 innings of work the Manhasset, NY native has allowed just eight runs on 37 hits. Opponents are batting .202 against him, and he has struck out 63 while walking just 16. Barnes has been particularly good since June 1st, allowing just 16 baserunners and one single run in 27.1 innings.

Kevin Nolan was voted the top shortstop in the league despite the fact that he has missed the majority of the second half of the season with a hamstring injury. The Nashua, NH native is batting .316 with 23 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 40 RBI in 78 games played. Nolan, who has collected 12 stolen bases and compiled an OPS of .855, has appeared in just one game since July 1st.

Mike Redmond has led the Dunedin Blue Jays to the best record in the FSL North, and second best mark overall in his first season with the club. After bringing the 2011 Lansing Lugnuts to the Midwest League championship series, he has led the D-Jays to a 74-51 record through the first 125 games. He joins Jupiter's Andy Haines as an All-Star selection along with FSL Manager of the year Ryan Ellis from the Saint Lucie Mets.

The Blue Jays would like to congratulate all of their All-Stars in 2012, including Jon Talley, Ryan Schimpf, Jack Murphy, Casey Lawrence, Sean Nolin and Egan Smith - all of whom were first half All-Stars and participants in the 2012 FSL All-Star game in Port Charlotte.

The regular season wraps up with seven games over the next six days, and the postseason will begin on Tuesday, September 4 against a still to be determined opponent.
