When the season comes to an end on Monday, three Fisher Cats will have more baseball on their agenda. Hitting coach Jon Nunnally will join outfielder Jake Marisnick and shortstop Ryan Goins in the Arizona Fall League.
Marisnick and Goins were selected to play for the Salt River Rafters in the prestigious league, which features several of the game's top prospects. Nunnally, who previously played and coached in the AFL, will work with the hitters on the Salt River team.
Joining the Blue Jays contingent on the Salt River team are players and coaches from Washington, Arizona, Colorado, and the Chicago White Sox.
Salt River begins play in the 2012 Arizona Fall League on October 9.
