Corey Dickerson put the Drillers on the board with a lead-off solo home run to make it 1-0. Mike Zuanich also blasted a two-run home run in the same inning that made it 3-0. Kiel Roling tacked on another home two-run home run in the top of the third inning to make it 5-0. Lars Davis added a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning.
Mike Montgomery (2-6) went six innings allowing eight hits and six runs, while walking one and striking out six. Joe Gardner (8-8) went seven innings allowing six hits and no runs, striking out three.
The Naturals offense got on the board in the bottom of the eighth inning get a two-run home run from Brian Fletcher. The home run was the tenth of the season for Fletcher.
The Naturals return home continue their final home stand tomorrow night against the Drillers at 6:05 PM. Right-hander JC Sulbaran (0-3, 9.95) will take the mound for the Naturals against a Drillers starter, who is yet to be determined. All of the action can be heard on ESPN 92.1 The Ticket.
