Rodriguez, who was drafted this year in the second round by the Dodgers, went 1-0 with three saves and a 1.32 ERA in 15 appearances for the Lookouts. In 13.2 innings of work, he yielded just seven hits and six walks, while striking out 22. Prior to his promotion to Chattanooga on July 28th, he pitched six shutout innings over six appearances for Great Lakes. Rodriguez joins RHP Nathan Eovaldi and RHP Shawn Tolleson as 2012 Lookouts who have made their way to Los Angeles this season.
Onelki Garcia, who was drafted in the third round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft, comes to Chattanooga after just one appearance with Rancho Cucamonga in which he threw two perfect innings with four strikeouts. Garcia, who defected from Cuba in 2010, joins Rodriguez and Duke von Schamann as 2012 draftees who have been on the Lookouts roster this season.
Yimi Garcia, 22, has gone 6-5 with a 2.92 ERA and 16 saves in 49 games this season between Great Lakes and Rancho Cucamonga.
Eadington will make his second tour with the Lookouts this season. The Harvard lefty became a member of the Lookouts on July 28th and went down to Rancho Cucamonga on August 24th. In his nine games as a Lookout, he went 1-2 with a 5.73 ERA. In addition to the Lookouts, he has pitched for Great Lakes and Rancho Cucamonga this season, going 4-3 with a 3.63 ERA and 26 saves on the season between the three clubs.
Patterson, a 2012 Southern League All-Star, went 7-1 with a 3.07 ERA in 47 relief appearances for the Lookouts this season. In 70.1 innings of work, he notched 71 strikeouts in his first season as a reliever.
De La Rosa, who is bouncing back from Tommy John surgery, pitched one inning for the Lookouts over two appearances. In his first appearance, he pitched a perfect inning but surrendered three runs without recording an out in his second outing. A member of the Dodgers' 40-man roster, De La Rosa has had brief stints with the AZL Dodgers, Rancho Cucamonga, and Los Angeles this season.
