Brown joins MiLB staff
Will have diverse finance and accounting roles

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Minor League Baseball has hired Sean Brown as its director of finance and accounting. Brown will work with senior management in the areas of human resources and risk management, as well as lead the accounting, finance and payroll services of Minor League Baseball. He will also be responsible for financial monitoring, forecasting and analysis for all MiLB™ subsidiaries.
Prior to joining MiLB, Brown served as the lead auditor for Minor League Baseball and its affiliated companies while with Gregory, Sharer & Stuart in St. Petersburg. He also spent several years as a senior manager for audits with Maxwell Locke & Ritter, LLP in Austin, Texas.
Brown, a native of Beckley, W.Va., has a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.
