"Nicole is a worthy candidate for our first ever Farm Grown grant," said Whitney Campbell, Grizzlies Community Fund Manager. "An important component of the Farm Grown program is to promote an education in agriculture by providing grants and scholarships supported by Farm Grown Founding Partners. We are confident that the awarded grant will help Nicole maintain her passion for the agricultural field as she progresses in her education and future career."
The Farm Grown program is a part of the Grizzlies Community Fund and was released in April of 2012. The mission of Farm Grown is to promote the agricultural heritage and philanthropic vitality of the Central San Joaquin Valley through the building of meaningful partnerships in support of education and healthy living. The Farm Grown program will support an education in agriculture through scholarships and grants.
The Grizzlies Community Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was introduced in 2004 in order to spearhead efforts to assist, reward and support worthwhile causes throughout the Central San Joaquin Valley.
