The Southern League All-Star Game has historically showcased some of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball. Big League stars such as Jose Canseco, Robin Ventura, Evan Longoria and Josh Johnson have all participated in the All-Star Game before being promoted to the Major Leagues.
Events on Wed July 17 will begin with an awards luncheon for the 2013 All-Stars, followed by the 2013 Fan Fest located at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. After the Fan Fest, fans are invited to enjoy the 2013 Home Run Derby, followed by the 2013 Southern League All-Star Game.
Additional events and details surrounding the All-Star Game are currently being planned and will be announced in the coming months.
