Billy Buckner signs with Los Angeles Angels

After a slow start with the PawSox, Billy Buckner settled in and was one of the PawSox most consistent pitchers down the stretch. According to NBCSports.com, Buckner has signed a minor league contract with the Angels.
Buckner lead the Red Sox system in wins (12), games started (27), innings pitched (153.0), and tied for the lead in complete games (2). After allowing 24 runs over his first 23 1/3 innings, Buckner finished both July and August with a 2.21 ERA.
