Albuquerque, the defending PCL American Conference Southern Division Champion, will begin their 11th season at home on April 4 against the Iowa Cubs. The schedule is highlighted by 15 fireworks shows, including the always popular July 4 Independence Day celebration. In addition to July 4, the Isotopes are home on Cinco de Mayo as well as Father's Day.
The 'Topes will play at home at least two weekends during each month of the regular season and will be at home for three weekends in both June and July when school is out. Additionally, due to popular demand, the Dodgers' Triple-A club has scheduled eight weekday afternoon games for the 2013 season.
"This might very well be the best schedule in franchise history," said Traub. "We're excited about the great dates we have and that we are able to respond to so many of the things that the fans ask for - namely fireworks, day games, and maintaining family affordability. We have very high hopes and expectations as we begin our second decade in Albuquerque." Tickets for individual games will go on sale on March 16.
Season Tickets and Mini Plans are on sale now. Fans can visit the Isotopes website (www.abqisotopes.com) or call (505) 924-BALL for more information.
