Spears, 27, has signed with the Cleveland Indians and has been given an invitation to big league camp. Spears spent the last two years with the PawSox after signing with Boston as a free agent in 2009 when he played with Double-A Portland.
A true utility player, Spears played at least one game at every infield position in 2012 and also played four games in the outfield. In 108 games for the PawSox last season, the former 5th round pick hit .240 with 10 home runs and 28 RBI.
Inman, 25, has signed with the Tampa Bay Rays after one season in the Red Sox farm system. The right-hander spent the entire season with Pawtucket where in 35 games he went 1-3, 2.23 ERA (12 ER/48.1 IP) with 60 strikeouts and 34 walks.
Assuming both are assigned to their respective parent club's Triple-A squads, PawSox fans can see Spears at McCoy when Columbus visits April 27-30. Inman will pitch in Pawtucket when Durham comes to McCoy Stadium May 2-5.
