SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants will join Downtown San Jose's Christmas in the Park on Friday, December 14. Along with members of the organization, former San Jose Giants players will be on hand to help spread holiday cheer. From 5:00-9:00 PM attendees who stop by the San Jose Giants booth will be able to take a swing at the San Jose Giants t-ball inflatable, enter to win prizes and take pictures with Gigante.

"We are very excited to be taking part in this year's Christmas in the Park", said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants Chief Marketing Officer. "This event is a San Jose tradition and with the holiday season in full swing we want to bring the joy of baseball to the community and our fans."

This year, the San Jose Giants are also taking part in the Christmas in the Park Perks program. Members of the Christmas in the Park Perks program receive a Buy One Get One Free General Admission ticket to a 2013 San Jose Giants regular season game. These tickets are subject to availability and not redeemable on Fireworks Nights.

The San Jose Giants begin their 2013 season on Thursday, April 4 at Visalia with the home opener set for Thursday, April 11 against the Rawhide. The Opening Night Extravaganza will include a postgame fireworks show, 2013 magnet schedule giveaway and much more. The Giants will also feature home games on Mother's Day (May 12), Memorial Day (May 27), Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day (September 2). On June 18, for the first time ever, Municipal Stadium will host the 2013 California-Carolina League All-Star Game.
