HOLIDAY HOME GAMES
The San Jose Giants will be at home on July 4 next season with the Visalia Rawhide in town for a 6:30 PM game. San Jose will also host games on Mother's Day (May 12, 1:00 PM), Memorial Day (May 27, 2:00 PM) and Labor Day (September 2, 2:00 PM).
2013 will feature an unbalanced schedule against North Division rivals for the Giants. The Stockton Ports and Visalia Rawhide will be San Jose's most frequent opponents with 27 games against each club. The Giants will also play 24 games versus the Modesto Nuts, but just 19 games against the Bakersfield Blaze.
NO CHANGES TO WEEKEND START TIMES
The start times of weekend home games at Municipal Stadium will remain the same in 2013. All Saturday home contests (with the exception of June 29) will begin at 5:00 PM. Sunday games in April, May and June are scheduled for 1:00 PM starts before switching to 5:00 PM in July and August.
VERSUS THE SOUTH
The Giants will play 43 games against teams from the South Division next season - a slight drop from the 44 games versus South Division clubs in 2012 (San Jose had 51 games versus the South in 2011). Four teams - High Desert, Lake Elsinore, Lancaster and Rancho Cucamonga - will make just one visit to Municipal Stadium in 2013. The defending champion JetHawks' only trip to the Bay Area is a for a four-game series from June 6-9.

Not including holidays, the Giants are scheduled to play five weekday afternoon games in 2013 at Municipal Stadium:

LONG ROAD TRIP
San Jose's longest road trip next season is an 11-game swing down in Southern California from May 15-25 against Rancho Cucamonga (four games), Inland Empire (three games) and High Desert (four games). It marks the Giants' longest road trip since May of 2009 when they played 13 straight games away from home. San Jose also starts the year with a seven-game road trip in Visalia and Stockton before their home opener on Thursday, April 11 (7:00 PM start versus the Rawhide).
June will be the busiest month at Municipal Stadium next year. The Giants are scheduled to play 16 home games in June - their highest monthly total of the season. San Jose will play home games during three out of five June weekends. Additionally, the Giants host the California-Carolina League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 18.
The San Jose Giants will release their promotional schedule for the 70-game home slate in the coming months. A packed schedule full of fireworks dates, theme nights and other exciting events are in the works.
