GameOps.com cited the RiverDogs success in hosting high profile and unique events such as the SAL Home Run Derby aboard the USS Yorktown as one of the major reasons for Charleston being recognized. But, they also pointed out the team's strong day-to-day operations and positive buzz both locally and all around baseball as a significant reason for the award.
"We're excited to have received this award from GameOps.com" says RiverDogs GM Dave Echols. "This is yet another example of our staff's hard work and dedication. 2012 was a great year for the RiverDogs, and I'm confident 2013 will be even better."
The RiverDogs open their 2013 home campaign on April 11 against the Augusta GreenJackets. Season tickets and mini-plans are currently on sale. Visitwww.RiverDogs.com or call the box office at 843/577-DOGS (3647) for more information.
