Mayans' Failure Means One-Day Ticket Savings
End-of-the-World Opportunity - 12% Off Any Ticket Package
12/21/2012 10:44 AM ET

MOOSIC, Pa. - Apocalypse wow! Doomsday has come and gone, and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders invite their fans to celebrate with 12% off any ticket package purchased today only by 5 p.m. Orders can be made over the phone by calling 570-969-2255, or in person at the RailRiders offices at 50 Glenmaura National Blvd., Suite 101, Moosic, Pa. 18507. Orders must be paid for in full to receive the discount.

"It's a great day to be alive and an even better day to buy tickets for our 2013 season," said RailRiders president and general manager, Rob Crain. "This is as limited-time an offer as there can be. Well, unless the world comes to an end. I suppose that would trump a 5 p.m. deadline."

The RailRiders' 2013 season gets underway with the grand opening of a reconstructed PNC Field on April 4 when the defending International League champion Pawtucket Red Sox come to town for a rematch of their 2012 playoff clash with SWB. It will mark the first "Thirsty Thursday" promotion of the year with $1 beer specials and $1 Pepsi products along with a pre-game live band performance. Club seating, partial and full-season ticket plans are now available.
