Rangers Caravan to visit Frisco Jan. 19

FRISCO, TEXAS (JANUARY 7, 2013) - The Texas Rangers Winter Caravan will visit Dr Pepper Ballpark, the home of the Frisco RoughRiders, on Saturday, January 19. At this free event, fans will have the opportunity to meet and receive autographs from some of their favorite Rangers players, several of whom once played their home games in Frisco before making the major leagues.

RoughRiders fans will also have the opportunity to choose a ticket plan and select their seats for the upcoming season. The gates at Dr Pepper Ballpark will open at 1:30 p.m. and members of the RoughRiders sales staff will be on hand to assist fans.

The RoughRiders' mascot, Deuce, and the Rangers Captain will be at the event to meet fans and take pictures. Fans will also be able to purchase ballpark concessions.

The autograph session will take place from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the jcp club at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

The regular season begins for the RoughRiders on Thursday, April 4 when Frisco visits the Arkansas Travelers. The 'Riders begin their home schedule on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. when the Travelers come to Dr Pepper Ballpark.
