The Baysox 20th season at Prince George's Stadium is just around the corner. During the past 19 years, hundreds of players have come through Bowie - some have stopped in for just a few weeks and others have been here for years before moving on with their careers. During the offseason, check back to baysox.com to find out where some of those players are now.

Outfielder Kyle Hudson was drafted by the Orioles in the fourth round of the 2008 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Illinois where he was also a starting wide receiver on the football team. He led the Fighting Illini in receptions during the 2007 football season.

Hudson spent the 2009 season with Single-A Delmarva where he hit .284 with 31 stolen bases in 117 games. He was promoted to Advanced-A Frederick for the 2010 season where he led the Carolina League with 40 steals while also batting .260 with 17 doubles in 136 games.

The speedy lefty started the 2011 season with Frederick, but was promoted to Bowie in early May and Triple-A Norfolk in late May. Hudson appeared in 28 games with the Baysox during two stints with the team and hit .308 over that time. He was a September call-up by the Orioles at the end of the season and he made his Major League debut September 4. Hudson appeared in a total of 14 games with the Orioles and stole two bases.

At the end of the 2011 season, Hudson was released by the Orioles and signed by the Texas Rangers before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays before the start of the 2012 season. This past season, Hudson played in 31 games with Triple-A Durham before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies where he finished the season. Hudson appeared in 71 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley where he hit .253 with 15 stolen bases.
