GREENEVILLE, TN - Due to extreme winter weather, the Greeneville Astros postponed their Launch Party to reveal the club's new uniforms, logos, color schemes and mascots for the 2013 season. Originally scheduled for Friday, the event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 29 at Pioneer Park. Admission to the party is free and the stadium doors will open at 12:00pm.
Upon entrance, fans can interact with Astros personnel and enjoy available refreshments. At 12:15pm, the club's new logo, game jerseys, batting practice jerseys and caps will be revealed.
After the unveiling, new club merchandise will be available for purchase. In addition, the Astros will have a limited supply of T-shirts featuring the club's new logo that will be given away to fans as they exit the event.
The Greeneville Astros are the Appalachian League affiliate of the Houston Astros. Options to renew and purchase new season tickets are now available at the Astros Administrative office located at Pioneer Park on the campus of Tusculum College.
