Marandi, who joined the staff in January 2006, will be responsible for the development and implementation of integrated programs in public relations, social media, marketing communications and internal communications designed to support and meet Minor League Baseball's business objectives. She will write press releases, identify and develop opportunities for national media exposure and manage and execute social media strategies, among other duties.
Rendon will be responsible for assisting in the sales effort for MiLB™ sponsorships, and will also be coordinating existing promotions by acting as a liaison between MiLB partners and their member clubs.
The Du Quoin, Ill., native graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in sport administration. Rendon previously worked with the Pittsburgh Pirates' Florida operations, the Nashville Predators of the NHL and with the Southern Illinois University athletic department.
