Does your youth baseball or softball field need a field makeover? The IronPigs are looking for a worthy youth baseball or softball field within the Lehigh Valley. As participants in the Volunteer Center's Volunteer Challenge we will be selecting one field to receive a field makeover. IronPigs front office staff and grounds crew will spend an entire day renovating the infield, painting structures and performing general landscaping to rejuvenate your field. Your organization will also be recognized at the Volunteer Center's Volunteer Challenge celebration on May 30th.
Now is your chance to submit your youth baseball or softball field for consideration. To be considered submit photos of all areas of your field and a short essay (200 words max) on why your field needs this makeover to smarten@ironpigsbaseball.com no later than March 8th.
Finalists will be chosen by the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and voted on via the IronPigs Facebook and Twitter pages.
