MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds will hold an interview via Twitter (Twinterview) with former Redbirds infielder and Texas League All-Star Jermaine Curtis this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. CT.

Fans are required to follow the Memphis Redbirds (@memphisredbirds) and Curtis (@JermaineCurtis) on Twitter in order to view the conversation. Topics such as Spring Training, the offseason, 2012 Texas League playoffs, the farm system, and general baseball topics will be discussed during this time.

In order to follow along and participate live on Twitter, fans are asked to submit their questions for Curtis by tweeting to @memphisredbirds with the hashtag #twinterview.

Curtis batted a combined .310 (123-for-397) with one home run, 20 doubles, and 25 RBIs in 113 games between Triple-A Memphis and Double-A Springfield in 2012. The third baseman spent the majority last year's campaign with Springfield and helped guide the S-Cardinals to a Texas League championship while also being recognized as a Mid-Season All-Star. He led the Texas League with a .416 on-base percentage and was rated as having the "Best Strike Zone Discipline" in the circuit in Baseball America's Best Tools Survey following the season. Curtis is entering his 6th professional season in the Cardinals' system after begin drafted in the 5th round of the June 2008 First-Year Player Draft out of UCLA.
